Happily Munching Horses, August 23, 2009Mom and I went on a ride today with Connie, Mom's neighbor, in the park. Mom rode Chance (big guy in the background) and I rode LauraBell (gray girl in front). Best part - Mom's best ride this year on Chance. I'm happy for the two of them. It was a beautiful late summer day with the grass blowing in the breeze and the sun warming us up.
This morning in fact it must have been chilly for all of the insects. Last night we had this big bumble hanging out by the snapdragons and this morning, the poor little guy was hanging on for life but not moving much. I thought he was dead at first, but nope, just chilled to moving slow.
